FALL 2019 SHOWCASE WEEKEND
Friday, September 27th
&
Saturday, September 28th
The Promenade Showcases are held twice each year, typically in Spring and Fall. It is an exciting weekend of Dance Exhibitions, when we welcome local Amateurs and Professionals, of all levels and from all studios, to perform in various styles of dance in a professional, yet non-competitive atmosphere.
The Showcases are performed in several sets of three or four dances each, periodically throughout our regularly scheduled Dance Parties, while still allowing some time for open Social Dancing. A tentative list of performers will be included in The Promenade’s Weekly Newsletter on the Tuesday prior to the Showcases. Feel free to join our E-mail list to receive these updates.
The Showcase Evening’s Schedule will start with a dance lesson at 7:00 p.m.
Social Dancing will begin at 8:00. The first set of performances will start approximately at 8:30 p.m. At the end of the set, Social Dancing will resume for approximately 15 - 20 minutes until the next set of performances, and so on throughout the rest of the evening.
There is NO FEE to register and entrants receive two hours of FREE floor time
for practice each week, until the date of the Showcase. Performers are welcome to register for whichever night fits their schedule the best.
Spectator admission for the evening, including the lesson, performances, beverages and snacks will be $18 or $15 for College and High School Students

Out of courtesy for our performers, we ask that attendees plan their arrival
previous to 8:15 p.m. The front register and the concession will be closed during all performances and late arrivals will be asked to wait at the front entrance, until the set is over, to avoid any possible distractions.
There will be no Professional Videotape of our Showcases. You are welcome to have someone video your own performances.
