Efforts are courageously underway to negotiate with the landlord for a fair and reasonable lease agreement, with the hopes of rebuilding, after 18 months of devastation. With your prayers and support, plans are to reopen, better than ever, before the end of the year. Meanwhile, please pencil us in for New Years Eve.
Remember, if you joined The Promenade's E-Mail list between March 2020 and the present time, there is a chance we will NOT have your email address in our system. Therefore, I hope you will contact us again, at email@example.com , to assure you are on our list and ready to receive our messages, as soon as they start up again.
Keep checking back for updates, as we proceed, with our dancers in mind,

Hello Promenade Dancers,
Well, it's been a bumpy ride for all of us, the past 18 months, but it has been especially chaotic for The Promenade. Word travels very fast in the dance world and as many of you already know, The Promenade's doors have been locked by the landlord and the business is no longer in the hands of Patrick Chang. Sadly, the agreements made between Mr. Chang and I, along with the contracts he signed with St. John Properties, have not been honored, even though every effort was made to negotiate fairly. Add to that, the devastation of Covid-19, and it has been a costly and highly emotional time for all concerned.
As I take responsibility for the decisions I made in 2020, that have led to this disaster, I will continue to do all I can to find trustworthy, hardworking and dedicated individuals to take over this wonderful business. This was certainly my goal in 2020 and I pledge to do a better job, eyes wide open, this time.
I am currently in touch with an interested party. Even though there is currently no lease on the space, the landlord is working with us and allowing all my equipment and furnishings, including the dance floor to remain in the building, at least temporarily, until a deal is finalized. We need your patience and your prayers to help move us forward and we will need your much appreciated support once the doors re-open. All the other local studios have survived Covid and are, joyfully, back up and running, as well as can be expected. With the return of proper management and owners who are dedicated to the dancers and the success of the business, The Promenade can do the same.
In the meantime, I will use this forum to update everyone as the process unfolds. The other pages of this website will be updated, as soon as future classes and events have been scheduled. At that time, we will also resume sending out a Weekly Email Message. We have maintained the Contact List that was in effect in February of 2020, but if you joined The Promenade's E-Mail list between March 2020 and the present time, there is a chance we will NOT have your email address in our system. Therefore, I hope you will contact us again, at firstname.lastname@example.org , to assure you are on our list and ready to receive our messages, as soon as they start up again.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at the above address.
Optimistically and Faithfully Yours,
